I recently had the pleasure of working with this bridal salon for my special day, and while the overall experience was positive, I feel compelled to share my thoughts on the commun...
ication aspect. The dress I ordered took over a year to arrive, and unfortunately, there were no proactive updates or communication from the salon during this time. Additionally, the veil, which added to the anticipation of my bridal look, took even longer, prompting me to reach out to Olivia’s to even get any information on it.
On the bright side, the service itself was commendable. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere during my visits. Although I ultimately received the items I ordered and am satisfied with the quality, the lack of communication was a notable drawback.
I have to say I found my dress the first day and never looked back! It was so beautiful on my wedding day. I wanted strapless and the dress was not strapless but the seamstress rem...
ade the whole top bodice to match the bottom. And for a women with a large chest is was no easy job. It took 3 fittings but I know if I had gone anywhere else I wouldn’t have gotten such a beautiful dress tailored to me because of my size especially strapless! I am so happy I came to Olivia’s and I will recommend anyone else to go there. They made an insecure bride into a confident one and you can’t ask for more! I also have to say they have the best seamstress in town!
This was my second salon to shop at and I went in feeling slightly discouraged from my shopping experience the day before. I wear a size 18 in street clothes, so dresses that fit m...
e were about a size 22. My first dress salon had very few dresses that fit well and it was hard to imagine them on my body fitting correctly. I explained to Nichole that I felt overrun by my 3 attendees the day before and never really got to pick anything out for myself to try on. I showed her some inspiration pictures from Pinterest and pictures of what I tried on the day before and told her I think I needed to try different style dresses on because I didn't know what truly looked good on me. She went to the back and brought out 3 dresses and had me rate them. After trying on those 3, we went back into the dressing room and she asked me what I felt was missing or what other direction I wanted to go in. The next 3 options she brought in were exactly what I was referring to and were much better options for my body than what I originally was trying on and thought I wanted. Nichole came back in with 2 new dresses that were completely different styles than I had tried on and told me to trust her. When I tried on the last dress, I knew it was the one. I'm so glad I went to her shop and trusted her knowledge of dresses. I also appreciated her listening to me and really following what I was saying instead of asking the other people I went with what they wanted to see me in. She had excellent knowledge of the dresses, was very thorough with details, and so professional! Highly recommend her!
I've lived around the corner from Olivia's Bridal House for around two years and was always interested in getting my dress there. After I got engaged, I knew I'd be making an appoi...
ntment. I was nervous to go alone (with my mom on FaceTime) but Nicole, the owner, was so lovely and fun to work with! I ended up finding my dress and I'm absolutely in love. Thank you to Nicole and OBH!
My experience at Olivia's Bridal House has been amazing. Wedding dress shopping during COVID was solo for me since my family is out of state, after trying the standard large bridal...
boutiques and being completely discouraged, OBH was absolutely the best thing that happened. Nicole listened to what I was looking for and provided a curated variety of dresses - and they were all beautiful and exactly what I wanted. After finding "the one" she helped virtually include my mom in the fittings. The dress was perfect and I am so thankful for OBH and Nicole.
Nicole was so helpful and knowledgeable and her expertise really helped me to feel beautiful on the big day. I had a general idea of the dress I would want to wear and she brought...
out some gorgeous options I wouldn't have considered but then ended up LOVING. I bought my dress from here with no hesitation. Alterations were carefully and thoughtfully done. I have since recommended this lovely place to many brides!
The customer service and dress options were amazing! Especially for my wedding that is just a few months away. Olivia’s Bridal House helped me the perfect dress and I’m so happy a...
place like this exists for brides like me. You won’t be disappointed.
Overall Poor Experience. It is a lot, so I will put it in bullets. - Booking online, manager calls you to get credit card info. in case you no-show, $25 fee - I played phone tag wi...
th the manager more than 20 times. When I called they said she was not available and she would call me back. No one else could take my CC info. - Very limited dress assortment - about 20 dresses. - Got there on time, no one else at the salon, yet waited 20 minutes to even be seen. - None of the dresses had any sleeves, in a plus size boutique. Give me a break. The stylist insisted that there are no dresses made with sleeves, and they all have to be added. That is a lie. - NO PICTURES. This was absurd. It made you feel that they were so concerned with you buying somewhere else, because maybe they were overpriced. Would not divulge brands, sizes of dresses, model types, etc. - Stylist was nice, but very knowledgeable about ways to enhance a dress, proper fitting and alterations, etc. Overall a waste of time. I should have paid attention to the signs (phone tag with manager, waiting 20 minutes when everyone was there and there were no other customers being helped, only 20 dresses hanging in the front, etc) and saved myself time. Brides - steer clear. There are many other boutiques that have plus sized dresses and are way more accommodating and knowledgable to help you.
I wish I could give more stars to this place!! I was completely nervous about finding a bridal gown, and Nicole sensed that right off the bat. She did a great job making feel at ea...
se so I could fully enjoy the appointment. After the initial 3 dresses she brought in, she asked for what I loved , etc, and ended up finding my perfect dress in the very next pick. I cried when I walked out and stood in front of the mirror and my parents having that feeling I never thought I’d find. I felt like a bride, and it was an overwhelmingly joyous moment. Nicole found a veil immediately to complete the look, and it was perfect. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Nicole and OBH!! There were no other brides in the salon at the same time of my appointment which made it even better. Thank you Nicole and OBH for the best experience I could have asked for!! ♥️
Some tips before you book:
- You sign a 2 page terms and conditions before you ever see the dress including only having 5 business days once the dress arrives to check it (doesn't ...
work for me, I travel)
- They have only a handful of dresses displayed, you are at the mercy of the consultant pulling dresses from the back
- Take slippers, they make you take your shoes off and my feet were dirty by the time we left
- They will not allow photos before purchase. I need to compare dresses from different shops and can barely remember what I tried on
- They don't even want to write down the information, just put it in your file. After being very inisistent, they did write down a little information on one dress I was considering
Overall, my group felt very unwelcome and I thought the whole experience was awkward.
I absolutely loved my experience at Olivia's bridal. We were the only ones in the shop while I tried on dresses which was awesome. Nicole made me feel so comfortable while trying o...
n many different options. As a curvy bride I was very nervous going in that I wouldn't be able to find something I loved or that fit, but here that was anything but the case. I got to try on lots of options and found the perfect dress for me! Thank you for such an amazing experience!

s and samples in all sizes. I would rate my entire experience a 10!!! I loved the personal service Nicole provided starting from my initial contact with the boutique. Nicole schedules one appointment at a time, so the process can be as intimate as possible. She was very patient with me and truly listened to what I wanted. She was able to bring my vision to life and help find the perfect dress for me!

ere. Talk about the VIP treatment! I was very comfortable working with Nicole and she took the time to listen to my concerns (theme, price, cut, etc.), which I appreciated. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but the little details that they make for each bride really makes it a memorable and personalized experience. Highly recommend Olivia's Bridal House!

f the best collections of gowns for curvy brides that I've ever seen! The store itself is absolutely gorgeous and really gives you a real "bridal experience" so you don't have to compromise the little luxuries (like a personalized sign with your name on it greeting you at the door) for the sake of finding a gown that fits. Nicole was helping me that day and when I say she bent over backwards to help me find something, you better believe it! Basically, just come here! You will not be disappointed!
